I had a wonderful stay at Douroxisto Aparthotel in the hills near, with its beautiful schist house and stylishly decorated apartment. The 1-bedroom unit was perfect for two couples, offering two private spaces with separate bathrooms. The apartment had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay, including great internet. The owner, José, and on-site staff member, Claudia, were friendly and helpful. The breakfast, delivered in a picnic basket each morning, was filling and delicious. The view of the valley below and the sunset was breathtaking. it was a great experience.

I recently had a wonderful stay at a beautiful home surrounded by stunning scenery. Upon arrival at Douroxisto Aparthotel, I was pleasantly surprised when the host upgraded our room to a brand new, spectacular suite with a large balcony overlooking the valley. the room had a whole wall of sliding walkout windows, allowing us to fully appreciate the breathtaking view. the breakfast provided was also a treat, delicious and served in a cute picnic basket.

I would highly recommend this place to my friends for a perfect getaway experience. Cons: No complaints!
